Easter in Seattle 2010

It's Easter and I'm in Seattle with Scott. He had surgery last week and is coming along well with his healing. Because it's also LDS General conference weekend, I was able to enjoy the talks here in the apt. After talking with Bob, I went for a walk along the beach. Here in the NW, spring brings lots of rain. So the ocean is cloudy and sprinkles are in the air. I enjoy watching the people, their dogs, the ships at sea and sea gulls as I walk along the prominade. There are benches to sit and I do that too. I stayed out until the wind and chilling rain swept me inside.

Yesterday was wonderful as I went with Jacs to see her condo and visit the Queen Anne district. Her condo is all glass on one side with floor to ceiling windows that overlook Seattle's' skyline. She fed me the most delicious chili turkey wrap, then we visit two gardens and went SHOPPING. She also gave me several lovely gifts to take home to the family including bath salts and handmade scarfs and hats. Besides being a Microsoft exec. she does professional photograpy and has taken lots of pics of me and her. She printed a framed black and white portrait of me that is beautiful. I truly love this beautiful, Aussie bred, America career girl.
She is moving back to Australia, hopefully with a transfer with Microsoft in the next year. Perhaps I can visit her there one of these future years.

Avy had Easter dinner at her place and invited Bob and Cheri. Ry and Ty were at his grandfather's saying their final farewells as he passed on this morning. He was ready to go after having lost she wife several years ago and missing her so much. All of his sons gave him a blessing and he passed away in peace.

I hope to be going home next Saturday. We will see.
